Driven by FLAVA

At Flavas International Grill, every plate tells a story.

What started over 25 years ago as a dream rooted in family, culture, and community has grown into a Bronx staple known for bold Jamaican and soul food fusion flavors that feel just like home. But our story begins long before New York — back in Jamaica.

Co-owner Tony grew up surrounded by fresh provisions, rich island spices, and the kind of cooking that brought people together. Co-owner Millie came from a family deeply connected to food as well with roots in butchery, local markets, and homemade recipes passed down through generations.

At the heart of it all was Millie’s grandmother, lovingly nicknamed “Restaurant.” Known throughout the markets for her unforgettable seasoning, warmth, and recipes full of soul, she became the inspiration behind the starting of the Flavas. Her cooking wasn’t just food, it was comfort, connection, and culture served with love.

Today, we continue that legacy right here in the Bronx.

From tender curry goat and smoky jerk chicken to creamy smoothies and soulful classics, every dish is made to bring people together the same way it did around our family tables growing up. We believe food should feel personal. It should remind you of home, introduce you to culture, and leave you craving your next visit before you even finish your plate.

More than a restaurant, Flava’s is a family. And when you walk through our doors, you become part of it.

Whether you’ve been rocking with us for years or you’re trying us for the first time, we’re grateful to serve you. Come experience the flavor, the culture, and the love that’s been passed down for generations.

Stop by, share your experience, leave a review, and most importantly come hungry.
